This was the only time that Ford and Dodge worked together to make this original vehicle!) The only thing wrong with this truck is that it needs the computer module replaced and through searching I have found the prices run from $250 to $350. This is also one of very few high performance ones made for California and Canada only. Everything else works fine. It has been serviced regularly and mostly garage kept and is very nice inside and out! If you want a special "show vehicle" - this is it! The price for this truck is "as is" and you will be impressed when you see it.
The Dodge Shelby trucks were made only one year with only 1,475 made. 480 were white, but most had to be repainted because the white paint chipped, so even though there were 995 red ones made, they hold their value better because of the paint quality and the higher number which is xxxx. This truck has the original paint and it looks great. The transmission has been replaced with a Jasper Transmission, exhaust replaced and a new fuel pump ($800) was just put in.
The computer needs to be replaced. You can replace the computer module or rewire it for a ROD TRUCK ..........the choice is yours. This truck is a special find and one you will be proud to own. You sure won't see yourself coming around the corner with this one. Please - serious inquirers only!
